Default There are two different versions of the Pre-Release Nightfall Pack

There are two different versions! I personally think that the Pack with the dervish is better because it has music. I don't know why in Europe we get the Paragon one and we have only one track of music!

ah; We in america got the Dervish with 8 music tracks. The different regions each tailor their promo goodies to what they think would sell better in their territory. This is also why the European Factions CE got a cloth picture and colectible platic serial key card; and all America got was a perferated piece of paper.

Wait, so Europeans want less music? That makes no sense.

Did you guys get anything extra in the European pre-release?

This is kind of...unfair! You get more music but we get a plastic card! I really like the card and I won't give it back but I won't refuse some more music. I suppose you can say that for the card too!

And no, I don't think we get somethink like a bonus. Maybe we will get a bonus in the CE like with the cloth picture in the Factions' CE. Thouhg our concept art is better quality and the sceenshots too.

Maybe it has to do with license issues. I remember European license/copyright etc was a bit different than it is here. Or maybe, someone didn't finish his/her paperwork for european market in time...

yes, I was disappointed to find out the European preorder kit didn't contain music. Is there any way we can retrieve this?

Well I'm getting (well going to try) the pre-release pack today, according to the eu guildwars site it says we get music on the disc, and I can't believe it would just be one track, seems weird.

I believe that is against copywright and best to not ask on a public forum

Added this info to the Q&A: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10048038

so far, getting the Pre-order box is still related more to dumb luck, than coordinated effort. at least in the part of germany I live in. I could buy around 100 preview packs of the burning crusade, as well as at least 20 packs of another MMO preorder pack (I've already forgotten the name) though.

weird to ban the music. after all, the screenshots from the pack get copied all over the net and they are as much IP as a song. either both are plain advertisement or none is.

I've been wondering whether the character slots stack if you add more than one prerelease key to your account. That is, buy 2 prelease packs and add them, do you get two extra slots?

No; in fact it won't even let you add a second key.

That's too bad; I guess I'm not getting any extra slots. Blast credit cards and their ubiquity. They need to sell slot cards in stores.
